Originally a royal retreat and known as ‘London’s Arcadia’ for hundreds of years, Richmond has always something on. Despite its small size, Richmond boasts two theatres, two cinemas, London’s largest Royal Park, and a great range of shops and restaurants. Sports fans are also very well catered for, with Twickenham stadium just a short walk away. Travelling by river is a great way to see many of the attractions in the area from a different perspective, with the river Thames running through the heart of Richmond and linking the town centre to Hampton Court Palace, Ham House and Kew Gardens.

This Christmas enjoy the annual winter light show in Kew Gardens, the winter garden trail at Ham House and frosty walks through Richmond Park. Aladdin will be taking centre stage at Richmond Theatre for this years pantomime and Twickenham stadium will be home to several big matches including Varsity and The Big Game 10 which will see Quins take on Northampton Saints.
