On Friday 24 November and Saturday 9 December, The Ivy Café, Richmond will be hosting Christmas carols to celebrate the festive period. Hosted directly outside the restaurant, the carols will be performed by Ella’s Choir, run by The Helen Astrid Singing Academy, a charitable choir in aid of React – a local children’s charity. On 24 November, Ella’s choir will perform just after the annual light switch on in Richmond between 6pm-8pm and once again on the 9 December between 12pm-2pm.
From Tuesday 28 November there will be a touch of Christmas added to the menus, featuring The Holly & The Ivy Melting chocolate bombe with milk foam, vanilla ice cream, Christmas pudding and cranberry centre with hot brandy cream sauce.
There are a lot of festivities in and around Richmond. This Christmas enjoy the annual winter light show in Kew Gardens, the winter garden trail at Ham House and frosty walks through Richmond Park. Aladdin will be taking centre stage at Richmond Theatre for this years pantomime and Twickenham stadium will be home to several big matches including Varsity and The Big Game 10 which will see Quins take on Northampton Saints.
